Please let us know how we can be of service.
Weather Planning and ForecastingAll of our captains have the ability to track weather conditions off shore in real time, making route adjustments to minimize wear and insure a safe passage. The adversity of weather conditions varies depending on the class of the vessel. It is the captains decisions whether conditions are safe for the passage. While the boat is most likely capable of pressing through these conditions, it would cause unnecessary wear and possibly damage. It would also pose additional safety risks for the Captain and Crew. We provide weather briefings via e-mail as needed. If conditions are going to delay the delivery for an extended period of time, the captain will contact the owner directly to brief them on the situation.

PlanningAfter reviewing all aspects of the delivery, and getting a clear understanding of your expectations, we will take you through each planning phase in detail.
PreparationBefore setting sail, we will take at least one day to inspect the boat systems. We use detailed check sheets covering rigging, fittings, sails, electronics, engines, fuel system, Batteries and safety gear.
Anything that isn't in working order will be photographed and or recorded. If there is an issue that would seriously affect the safety of the delivery, the owner will be notified and the issue resolved prior to departure. Our skilled crew are happy to fix minor repairs. All minor repairs will be recorded and sent via e-mail. If approved, the repairs will be completed as instructed. Prior to departure, vulnerable and requested areas will be covered. UnderwayThe safety of the crew and your vessel are the Skipper's top priorities. It is the Skipper's judgement that determines whether the sea and vessel are safe enough to sail. Your boat will be motored or sailed conservatively to minimize wear. Our Skippers have final say throughout the delivery.
Tracking
You can be with us every step of the way. Login to vessel tracking, enter your password, and track us in real time. You can track your yacht from your cel phone by downloading the tracking app at the google play store. Follow our link for more information. This is a free service.
Final InspectionOur captains will present you with a zip drive containing a full delivery report. It will include the ship log, photos and or video at departure and arrival, recommendations, repairs, outlined expense report, and receipts. We will address any issues as instructed. Your boat will be ready to sail on arrival.
InsuranceWe insist on being added as additionally insured. While we have never had an issue, we do this to protect our customers in the event of catastrophic mechanical failure. We also recommend that the vessel be covered for boat tow insurance. This is relatively inexpensive for the added coverage, and could save thousands if mechanical issues arise. Boat US offers yearly policies from $24-$189.
